Pick up at the Airport of Antananarivo the capitol of Madagascar, and then drop straight to the hotel. (a proposal city tour, can be afford depending on the arrival time),

Heading to Antsirabe earlier in the morning, the drive may take around 4 hours, on the way we will see typical village from the tribes of Merina, as well as a landscape shape by the rice field in scale, surrounded by a rocky mountain. On half way a visit of pot manufacturers will be done at Ambatolampy, a recycling process from different trash all around Madagascar. Dinner at green garden in Antsirabe, the evening will be a city tour above a rickshaw. Overnight at  Hotel.

Early departure from Antrisarbe to reach Miandrivazo, the city of the SAKALAVA tribe. On way we will make a stop in Betafo, a country side, where the queen Ranavalona were used to make a trekking, also heading onto the West, we will take a look on the Gold digger, specifically. Overnight  hotel.

Early departure from Miandrovazo to reach Masaikampy, where the boat will be waiting for us to go down the river. The drive will take almost one 16 km on the national road, then 2 hours on the off road for the embarkation. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner will be served on the boat. The first day will be devoted relaxation on the boat, but also a visit to the waterfall Anosin’amela. . Overnight will be under a tent, shine by the brightening of a thousand stars, and the constellation of the southern hemisphere.

The second day, after breakfast within nature and in the cradle of the wild river, we’ll ride down, and pursue the visit. A visit to the isolated town of Begidro, as always lunch will be on the boat. The last day on the river, once the sun goes down, we are going to make a camp

Today’s destination is Belo, where we are going to take lunch. Once lunch is over, we will pursue our expedition within the desert part of Menabe on a 4WD to reach Bekopaka. On the way, we have to cross the Manambolo River on a ferry boat.

Once in Bekopaka night will at  hotel.

This day will be the visit of the limestone castle, a UNESCO’s heritage. Visit of ANDAMOZAVAKY a trekking of 4 hours. Night will spend at  hotel.

A nocturnal visit at the reserve of KIRINDY, to find out several endemic species of lemurs unique and just visible at the area. Kirindy the accurate place to find out the legendary FOSA of Madagascar. Overnight at Relais du Kirindy.

On the way to reach Morondava we will meet the legendary BAOBAB of Madagascar, as we can find out 4 species of them on the way. The first visit will be on the “sacred baobab” following to the “baobab lovers” and we will end up in the same place where lonely planet had taken his greatest photo here in Madagascar, “The baobab alley” and that will be during the golden hours, when the sun goes down.

come back to Antsirabe, an new starting point for the next step. Overnight in a Hotel at Antsirabe.

Departure from antsirabe earlier in the Morning, lunch will be at Ambositra after 90 km on drive down to the national road 7. As well as we are going to visit Ambositra and it’s famous caring wood. Then heading to the Tanala territory.

Since 1991 Ranomafana National park attracted more and more Visitor and mainly scientist, wildlife lover. The richness in terms of FAUNA and FLORA make it unique and endemic area that worth to visit. Nocturnal visit is schedulled inside our itinerary to spot several species of the night.

Few details about the Parks:

FAUNA:  74 species of insects, 90 species of butterfly including 4 rare species, 350 species of spiders, 58 species of reptiles, 98 species of amphibians, 115 of the 257 species of birds in Madagascar, the majority of which are endemic. 12 species of lemurs, 7 species of carnivorous mammals and 20 species of insectivores, 07 species of Chiropterans including the Myzopoda aurita, a monogenre which exists only in Madagascar. There are also 13 species of rodents.

FLORA: Tropical hardwoods such as rosewood or Dalbergia sp, maka or Weinmania sp and varongy or Mespilodaphne tapack are also visible. The Ranomafana forest is of the rainforest type, with the hard core considered as primary forest far from the road axis. There are Apocynaceae, Euphorbiaceae and Rubiaceae, Dypsis and Phloga of the Palmae family, Asplenium nidus, orchids of the Bulbophyllum and Eulophiella genera. Large areas of secondary forest are occupied by Psydium cattleyanum of the family Myrtaceae.

Heading to the Bara teritory. A quite conservative tribes within Madagascar, the 13th days we are going to dive through culture and rythe of the BARA tribes.

Visit at ANJFA reserve to see the Ring tailed lemurs, Lunch will be taken after visit as a pic-nic time. Overnight at Ranohira.

Visit and Pic-nic inside the parc. On the program, diving through the Bara cusoms and ancestral believe  and spoting endemic species of the subdesert area.

Swiming at the natural pool of Isalo, where swimsuit are needed. Overnight in the same Hotel.

Driving from Ranohira to Ifaty, a total of 265 km on ashfoalt, lunch will be taken at specific restaurant in Ifaty. Overnight in Hotel.

Riding on a traditional Malagasy transport, above a Zebu cart we will head to the reniala forest, a specific reserve of Baobab. The evening are a utter relaxation on the Beach side. 

Go back to the capital by flight. Overnigh in Antananarivo.
